"Sometimes you discover those gems in the middle of all the hustle and bustle or just on the edge of what is 'hot and happening'. This restaurant Tapas&co is a gem. This restaurant has been around since 1982 and maybe I've been here in 1998 but I don't remember that well. In any case, you will be cheerfully and well received. When ordering, you get the choice between Dutch or Spanish food (or a mix of both) and for all Dutch people. These are the real Dutch ‘broodje van Kootje’ snacks such as a frikandel special, croquette and of course a lot of mayonnaise. We chose the Spanish variant so patatas brava and a selection of Spanish tapas croquettes. The patatas brava is as it should be: bit spicy and with the perfect orange patatas brava sauce. The Spanish tapas croquettes were also good. Flavors cheese, shrimp, meat etc. The house wine (from the bottle) was more than good and fit perfectly with our menu choice. The service is smooth, nice and you are seen if you want to ask something. The terrace is not super big but has plenty of space. After checking out another drink from ‘house’ And with a good feeling after this Spanish-Dutch experience we went back to the hotel"

"Absolutely amazing cocktails and food. We had the patatas bravas and the marinated mussels- so stunning. The cocktails were made with a lot of TLC and well worth the price. Brightened up a rainy afternoon in Salou- we will be back"

"At 1 pm Tima decided on a bit of breakfast so we stopped here for four cañas and a shared bowl of pattas bravas. Nice and hot potato with a creamy sauce. Beers came with a bowl of small olives. Lovely short stop. Sat on the front covered terrace."

"Delicious food but sides were small, so don’t go if you’re starving. Steak was a good size though and best I’ve had in a while. Good service. €19 for steak. €21 for Octopus. Ham and chips was about €17 if I remember correctly."

"DO NOT MISS OUT. Stumbled upon this place late in the evening and I was blown away by the service, food and drink. Our waiter was stellar and made the best cava sangria I've ever had (probably one of the best drinks I've ever had!) And after we looked through the menu he let us know he's be willing to make something not listed and just to ask, which I thought was a very sweet touch! I got the crispy chicken pieces and the chicken wings and they were amazing. I was full with just two dishes but it is tapas place so keep that in mind! It is very well priced and was much cheaper than most tapas places I've been to, and the quality was still as good as anywhere else! Both my friends who visited with me ordered different dishes and had no complaints. Sad to have found it on our second last night on holidays, would definitely go back if I could!!"
